Luke and Laura {Utah Engagement Photography}

Part of my job is to work with all sorts of people from all different backgrounds and experiences. Luke is a commercial airline pilot for a major airline and Laura is an ICU nurse.  They both met a few years ago and now they are getting hitched! I love making friends and making connections. That’s why I love photography- you meet lots of great people!

Our session was a lot of fun. When we first got to our location, there was a HUGE group of people in funny costumes. It looked like it was some kind of anime meetup. We had to work around them, but towards the end of our session they left so we were able to use the rest of the location to our advantage. We had lots of fun! They will be married in June and I’m so excited for them!

David and Kelsey {SLC,Utah Engagement Photographer}

Spring is here! What a lovely time of year. I consider myself lucky to be living in Utah since Idaho is still cold and Minnesota still has snow! It’s so nice to walk outside and see all of Earth’s natural beauty! It’s the season for engagements and weddings!

I got to spend a lovely spring day taking David and Kelsey’s engagement pictures. The sun was out and it made for a colorful background. Dave and Kelsey make a lovely couple and they’re so mellow and easy going. We had lots of fun. They will be getting married at the end of May and can’t wait for them to tie the knot. Congrats you guys!

Willie and Juliana {Utah Engagement Photographer}

Willie and Juliana will be getting married this May and I’m super excited that they picked me to document their BIG day!

Juliana went to BYU-Idaho! I love BYU-I, and not because I went there, but because it is such a great college!  So many great professors teach there and so many great students go there.  Juliana studied broadcasting and communications and got an internship in Utah and her and Willie’s paths crossed. They are both from Colombia! It was meant to be:) Felicidades!

Dave and Jamie are married! {Utah Wedding Photographer}

The day finally came for David and Jamie! They were beaming with joy and they looked so wonderful! What a happy day!

Everytime I photograph a wedding I still get butterflies and I get flashbacks of my own wedding. Sometimes my eyes water when I see tender moments and sometimes my heart gets warm and fuzzy when I see family members get emotional.

Although there were no flowers on temple square it was still beautiful. The air was warm and it was a gorgeous sunny day-perfect for a wedding! I found out that Dave and Jamie were having a honey moon in Costa Rica!  Man, what a lucky couple!  Hope I get to go there someday too! Here are just a few of the many awesome pictures of their wedding. Dave and Jamie’s Formals {Utah Wedding Photography}

It’s really hard to shoot brides when there is lots of snow and there are no leaves on the trees but we managed to pull it off. Dave and Jamie are so awesome and they know how to work it! The pictures came out just the way I wanted them to. Luckily there was barely any wind, so Jamie was able to take a few pictures with and without her furry coat- which by the way made the close-up shots a DREAM! I love working with different textures together and they definitely work well in photographs. Aren’t they amazing models? Can’t wait for their wedding!
