Evan and Stephanie {South Jordan Wedding Photography}

Evan and Stephanie are THE BOMB! They are so awesome that they are kinda part of my family now!

Evan and Stephanie are insanely in love! Do you remember their engagement shoot? Yeah, they were so excited for their big day and they couldn’t wait. The day finally came and now they are married for time and all eternity through the LDS temple.  February had lots of nice warm days, but it just so happened to be super windy and cold. Regardless, it was a very fun day! Their wedding reception included a hot chocoloate bar and a photobooth! All the guests were warm and happy and they had a blast! Congrats Evan and Steph A.K.A. EVANIE hahaha

Mike and Laci {SLC Premier Wedding Photographer}

Winter Weddings can sometimes be cold but beautiful! Mike and Laci got married at Memorial House in Salt Lake City. It was gorgeous and Memory Grove Park was stunning! Mike and Laci were very fun to photograph and their wedding party was hilarious to be around.- it sure was a memorable wedding. They are both meant for each other. He is the cheese to her macaroni and  she is the laces to his shoes. Just ask them- they are crazy for each other!

The groomsmen had me cracking up! There were lots of funny moments and I’m glad I got to capture their personalities!

Jordon and Brooke {Salt Lake City Engagement Photographer}

Meet Jordon and Brooke- they are happily engaged and are getting married this May! Wahooo!

Jordon and Brooke met through mutual friends and through Jordon’s sister who was also friends with Brooke. They met and hung out a few times and they were both attracted to each other. When the time came, Jordon decided to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka Mormons).  While he served his 2 year mission, Brooke remained in touch with him and they wrote back and forth.  It was during this time that I met Brooke and met her sister Jamie. I had the opportunity to photograph Jamie’s wedding last year and also learned of the possibility that there might be a wedding this year 😉

After Jordon returned from his mission, Brooke and Jordon began to date and fell deeply in love. They both knew they were right for each other, he popped the question, and now I’m telling you all about it!

Last year we shot Jamie’s engagemets in zero degree weather, but luckily this time around for Brooke, it was almost 60 degrees (AND it was still winter). We had fun at the session and ended up with some great shots! What an awesome couple. I’m so excited for their wedding and I can’t wait to show you their Bridal/Groomal pictures so check back in a few weeks!

Evan and Stephanie {Salt Lake City, UT Photography}

These two are seriously the cutest and they’re definitely meant to be together! Evan and Steph have worked at the same place for a while and they had never met before… that is, until Stephanie needed some tech help at her desk. Steph sent a message to the technical department. Evan took the message. They began conversating… one thing led to another… then they met in person- and voila! LOVE and MARRIAGE!

I always enjoy hearing engaged couples’ love stories. All the stories are so different and some are so funny and make you wonder that sometimes there are no coincidences in life! Evan and Steph are amazing and so much fun to be around with. Their wedding will be blogged soon so stay tuned!

Jordan, Katie, and Ballou {Salt Lake Family Photographer}

I have a confession: I want a dog… really bad.

I have photographed pets before on family sessions but just a few shots with the family or owner. We all agreed that we would try a few shots with Ballou since we had no idea if he would be able to tolerate it. In the end, he stayed throughout the whole session and I was glad he did. He was SUCH a good dog and we got some great shots! Jordan and Katie are newlyweds and recently moved to Utah from California. They were really hoping to get some snow in their pictures but this year Utah has barely had any and it hadn’t really snowed by that time. The last of the leaves were falling and the weather was just perfect! They adopted Ballou from an animal shelter event and Ballou ended up with the perfect family. He sure is spoiled and he melts your heart with those cute puppy eyes! haha. What a lovely family!
